Vaegyr Kane was ordered to take the 8th Fleet to the Midgard Systems on a mission to get supplies and support to the Imperial Marines stationed on the Wotan Outpost, a Zidrri Invader-class Heavy Battlecruise has already prepared an ambush, and after being hit 6 times with a unknown kind of bioelectric plasma, the Kraken was finally destroyed by a direct hit of the Zidrii Battlecruise main weapon. This was one of the worst defeats in the Empire's History and the first time an Apocalypse-class was destroyed in battle.
